Our amazing former nanny in San Francisco has fallen on hard times. On March 23, 2020, she delivered her fourth child one month early due to complications. Mom and baby are doing well now, but she has been out of work since the beginning of this year due to her pregnancy, having a newborn, and now a brain tumor. Her husband, a construction worker, was out of work due to the COVID-19 “shelter-in” orders.

He is back to work now, but they are still struggling to make ends meet with four children and just one parent working. She will not be able to look for work for a while as she undergoes treatment for her tumor, which, thankfully, is not cancerous.

Dolores and her husband are two of the hardest working people we know. It is heartbreaking to see such good people devastated by conditions out of their control.  

We are hoping to raise money to help her and her family through this tough time. Please join us in supporting them. No amount is too small. We have been sending them money, but are hopeful that by sharing her story with family and friends, even more people could help them.
