Doing It For Jayden
Donation protected
Those who know us know we so rarely ask for help but this is for our 14 year old son Jayden so here we are.
Jayden has been working so incredibly hard for the last year saving money for a DJI Mavic 3 so he can start his own business. Yesterday his dreams came true, this morning it has fallen from the sky & smashed to pieces breaking his heart along with it.
This boy is incredible, he has lived his entire life on the ASD spectrum having been diagnosed with Social Communication Disorder & Obsessive Complusive Disorder at the age of 5. We lovingly call him our little Sheldon (Big Bang Theory fans will understand!)
His life has been full of challenges & major obstacles but he just continues to thrive & tackle each one head on. He has the strongest work ethic I have ever seen, working at our local butcher shop, volunteering at the PCYC two days and week & then mowing lawns and detailing cars on his one day off each week. All the while trying to build a reputation as a drone photographer through his Facebook page, Send In The Drones.
The money for this drone has quite literally been earned through his blood, sweat & tears.
If anyone deserves a break, it’s Jayden. This boy just keeps getting knocked down by life & keeps getting back up. We were already worried for his mental health before this happened. He has been dealing with bullying at school, has had a student come at him with a brick, has had issues at work, today has finally broken him. That’s why we are asking for help, to hopefully show this incredible young man that good things can happen to good people and help piece him back together.
