I am attempting my first half marathon in Hackney on Sunday 17th May! I wasn’t sure I would be able to do this, hence this somewhat last minute decision to use the opportunity to raise money to benefit SAFA PLACE, a small, local Stoke Newington charity that provides support for young people, their schools and communities around positive mental health and wellbeing. When our family suddenly became impacted by this a couple of years ago we were fortunate to join other local families in a program provided by Safa Place, and I would love to support them to continue this much needed work.
