Our town is recognized as dog friendly, with drinking bowls in front of most businesses and where dogs can run freely on our amazing beach. Visitors and residents welcome everyone's 4 legged best friends, while keeping our Village clean and free from their waste.
Due to budget shortfalls from the COVID-19 Pandemic, Carmel-by-the-Sea reduced the availability of Mutt Mitt dispensers throughout the Village. Your contributions will be used to install the removed dispensers and keep these and remaining units well stocked.
Your donations are welcome in any amount. As funds grow, "Friends of Carmel Residents Association" sponsorship stickers will be applied to these dispensers reflecting your collective 1 year support. Contributions in the amount of $200 or $750 will put your name(s) on the dispenser as detailed in the City's sponsorship program . Your donations, in full, will pass directly to the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea’s special fund for the use in the Mutt Mitt sponsorship program only.
