The 2021 and 2022 Louisiana legislative sessions saw several anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ bills introduced and debated. The Louisiana Trans Oral History Project is working to gather information about these proposed laws and the trans/queer resistance to them.

As these sessions become history, we are working to preserve the activism of Louisiana's trans and gender-nonconforming communities. These are the stories most likely be to ignored and forgotten. We won't let them be forgotten.
Funds will allow us to pay trans and gender-nonconforming community members to help with this project.
