Hello everyone,

My name is Ethan Pitts, and I’m proud to share that my Eagle Scout Project — the new fishing pier at Sheldon Park Pond in Killingworth, CT — is now complete!

This project was made possible through the generous support of family, friends, community members, and local businesses who donated their time, knowledge, materials, and funds. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped bring this idea to life. Your contributions built something lasting for our community to enjoy.

To celebrate, I invite you to join me and Troop 18 for a dedication ceremony and BBQ as we officially open the new dock.

Time: 12pm-2pm

Location: Sheldon Park Pond, Killingworth, CT

There will be a short ceremony, great food, and plenty of time to enjoy the new pier together.
