Adoption of Luke Daniel

Nicole and Shane have been given the incredible blessing of being able to provide a home for a beautiful baby boy. Shane’s cousin gave birth to a little boy but she is unable to keep him. When they learned about his birth, they prayed and realized that God was putting it on both of their hearts to adopt him as their own. They couldn’t imagine not taking him and being able to keep him with his family. They have decided to name him Luke Daniel McIntyre.
Luke was born at 29 weeks and was only 3 pounds 4 ounces and 15 ½ inches long! He is in the NICU and will most likely stay there until his original due date of November 1st. Luke has a long road ahead of him, but he is already doing so well that the presence of God in his young life can’t be denied. They are thrilled that God chose them to be his parents and are head over heels in love with little Luke.
The adoption is going to be pretty straight forward since Shane’s cousin is excited to give him to them, but it is going to cost $8,000 for the lawyer and all the required reports and investigations. They don’t know where the money is going to come from, but we know that we serve an awesome God and he is more than able to accomplish anything!
