OneVoiceAustralia

The voiceless majority of Aboriginal and non-indigenous Australians are not to blame for Aboriginal disadvantage. It is obvious the current Aboriginal funding model has failed my people for decades and money allocated does not reach the people who need it the most. It is time for reform.  I became interested in politics after distinguishing there are powerful elites who want to change Australian culture for their economic advantage and these people do not appear to have our best interests at heart. I am committed to dedicating my efforts to speaking on behalf of all Australians, to listening and to instituting political solutions and reforms, I am confident will make a difference.
However to achieve this, I need your support. I know Australians support equality of opportunity because we recognise it is the successful cornerstone of our great nation.  Aboriginal disadvantage is worsening and in some regions, dysfunction has become normalised which is a sad reflection of our failure to address the real causes of disadvantage. Australia does not need a Voice to Parliament or constitutional change. It needs to abolish the current Aboriginal funding model and implement measures capable of improving the economic outcomes of my people. Aboriginal families should be allowed to transfer land held by land councils to individual ownership and some freehold title can be returned to local traditional owners to be held in trust in a legal entity and accessed to establish local businesses, innovations and enterprises. Traditional owners should become shareholders and be able to use their land in whichever way they see fit. It would be sensible to base this revisioning on the successful Alaskan model. Government agencies can hold land in trust for Aboriginal people, offer funding and mentoring for five to ten years.  To achieve this reform, I need to speak to the people living in communities to seek their approval and support to abolish organisational interference and corruption forever. My people have had enough. The time is ripe to focus on generating economic independence and overdue lifestyle improvements.
