Hello, my name's Haley. I am a mama of 3 kids: a 5-year-old and 10-month-old boy/girl twins. On January 6th, 2025, our life forever changed when our 10-month-old son, Bentley, was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer called a rhabdoid tumor. This very large tumor is in his liver and has already metastasized to his lungs. We were able to remove the nodules off his lungs; however, he still needs to be on a ventilator. We started chemo last week. Bentley is the sweetest, most loving little boy. He's so full of life and always has a huge smile on his face. He loves snuggles, Bluey, and singing patty cake. He is currently in the ICU at a children's hospital in Orlando, Florida.
My husband and I have had to stop working and essentially moved to Orlando to be by his side while our other 2 children are staying with family. We are desperately in need of financial support to help with bills and the day-to-day. We are looking at months in the hospital and do not know when we will be able to go home and get back to work. Bentley's cancer is very rare; only 15 cases per year between the United States and Canada combined. The survival rate is not good; however, Bentley Bear is a fighter, and we are holding hope that he can beat this. #BentleyStrong️
