Help bring Steve home
As many of our family and friends know on Monday morning 15th January we recieved a phonecall that our son and brother stephen took ill very suddenly in California where he’s lived since 2007, many of us flew over to be by his side, when we arrived we were told stephen was receiving end of life care due to complications that arised from a blood clot and sepsis he was 44 years of age.
on Friday the 19th of January with everyone by his side he married the love of his life Kim this was officiated by his best friend Chris,
on Monday the 22nd of January Stephen passed away surrounded by those who loved him, he expressed his wishes very clearly he wanted to come home back to Ireland when he passed to be laid to rest with our dad.
This was made possible due to Kevin bell repatriation trust and everyones generous donations, Kevin bell made this so easy for us and they are nothing short of amazing.
They will be receiving a substantial donation due to this gofundme.
stephen arrived back in Ireland on the 3rd of February ahead of his funeral which took place on Monday the 5th stephen’s ashes will now be laid to rest with our dad this weekend.
Stephen was the liveliest soul, the funniest, most protective son, brother, uncle and friend anyone could ask for even right up to a few days before passing away he was still cracking jokes and telling us all what to do and making sure we all sat with him for the Liverpool game on the Sunday morning,
stephen leaves behind 2 beautiful girls Caela and Madison, his extended family Joseph Lauren and Aaron, his wife Kim, mother, brother, sisters, in-laws, his large group of friends in San Francisco and Dublin.
Thank you to each and every person who has donated here and to Kevin bell directly on behalf of myself and my family we can’t thank you enough.
Melissa.
