Aloha, My name is Charan Pamat, born and raised in Lahaina and now an orphan as our community is in shambles. The decision to create this fundraiser was humbling and took great personal strength to do. The great Lahaina fire of August 8th has left me without a home, a place of work and without every material possession I have ever owned. I escaped with the clothes on my back. I am so grateful to be alive and I thank God for his love and mercy. The road to recover will be long and hard. Any support that anyone can offer would mean the world to me during this most difficult time. I pray for the lives that were lost and for everyone in my community that shares in the difficulty of loss and desolation. What comes next is to rebuild my home and get back on my feet. Lahaina is home no matter what. Mahalo Mahalo!!!
