DJ Harris, a talented musician and pillar of the Charlotte, NC community, is facing an incredibly challenging time. Recently, a broken water supply line in his attic caused severe flooding, destroying his entire apartment. DJ lost his bed and all his personal belongings—everything had to be taken away to be inventoried. Just as he was trying to recover from this loss, DJ was involved in a car accident when another driver sped through a red light and t-boned his vehicle. Thankfully, DJ escaped with only bruises, but his car is now undrivable, leaving him without transportation.

Despite these setbacks, DJ has managed to find a new apartment, but he is starting over from scratch. He has no bed, no way to get around, and is working to replace his essential belongings. DJ has always been known for his generosity and his music, bringing people together and supporting those around him. Now, he needs the community’s help to get back on his feet.
