Hi! My name is Ela, and I'm from the Philippines. You may have already heard about the recent devastating typhoon and floods that left more than a million people displaced and hundreds of families grieving unimaginable loss. Having experienced this myself, along with my own family, I understand the overwhelming despair of trying to rebuild everything from the ground up.
Many cities and provinces are now under a state of calamity. In times like these, compassion and generosity become a lifeline — not just for survival, but for hope.
You may have also heard about the shortcomings and delays in our government’s response. This makes it even more important for us, as a community, to step in and support the families and communities who are suffering the most.
It doesn’t matter how big or how small — your help will make a real and tangible difference. A warm meal, clean drinking water, dry clothes, basic medicine, or simply the comfort of knowing that someone cares… these mean everything to those who have lost so much.
All donations will be sent directly to the Angat Buhay Foundation in the Philippines to ensure that aid reaches the affected communities quickly, transparently, and effectively.
If you feel called to donate, please know that your kindness will directly support families who urgently need assistance. And if you’re unable to contribute financially, even sharing this message or keeping these communities in your thoughts and prayers already helps more than you know.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for your compassion, your generosity, and for standing with the Filipino people during this incredibly difficult time.
