Sou Eliseu Teixeira e estou angariando fundo para a compra de um barco-ambulância que seá entregue a Proteção Cívil da Ilha Brava. A ilha Brava faz parte do arquipélago de Cabo Verde, um conjunto de 10 ilhas situado na costa ocidental da África a 450 milhas do Senegal.

A ilha não possui aeroporto e nem um sistema de transporte permanente. O sistema de sáude da ilha é bastante deficitário. Em caso de evacuação de doentes para a ilha vizinha torna-se extremamente dificil o transporte.

Recentemente um adolescente de 13 anos foi passar férias com os familiares e precisou de ser evacuado para outra ilha. Devido a falta de transporte a evacuação foi feita numa embarcação pequena de pesca. Depois de várias horas de espera e com avária na embarcação o jovem teve duas parragens cardio-respiratórias e chegou ao hospital com morte cerebral.

Sua doação pode salvar vidas e melhorar o sistema de evacuação deficiente dos moradores da ilha da Brava.
