Help Us bring Disorient Express to Burning Man

In 2017, three friends went to Burning Man for the first time.

They came back with dust in their clothes, too many stories to explain, and the feeling that they had experienced something that did not quite fit into normal life. Burning Man was not just a festival. It was a temporary city built from trust, effort, imagination, and people giving something without expecting anything back.

Something about that place followed us home.

Over the years, those three friends became a camp. More people joined. Friends brought friends. Strangers became part of the crew. What started as a small group slowly turned into Camp Endstation: a place built by many hands, held together by music, food, shade, late nights, early mornings, and the kind of connection that only happens when everyone contributes.

Burning Man is art

It is how people speak to each other. It is how a city with no permanent buildings creates memory. You might climb into something in the middle of the night, follow a light across the desert, dance next to strangers on a moving sculpture, or stand quietly in front of a piece that somehow says exactly what you needed to hear.

The art is temporary, but the experience stays.

For years, we have built our little home in the dust. Now we want to bring that feeling beyond our camp.

Disorient Express is our first art car. It is a moving piece of art, a small world on wheels, a place for music, encounters, and moments that cannot really be planned. A place that can appear at sunset, disappear into the dust, and carry people through the night together.

We are building it together with Wanderzirkus, an artist collective from Hannover, Germany. They bring the craft, imagination, and artistic madness that this project needs. We bring the camp, the crew, the story, and the dream of seeing it move through Black Rock City.

And like everything meaningful at Burning Man, it is not being built by one person.

It is being built by a community.

By people welding, painting, designing, organizing, carrying, cooking, planning, doubting, laughing, and showing up again the next day. By friends giving their time. By artists giving their ideas. By a camp that has grown into something much bigger than the three people who first went to the desert in 2017.

Your donation helps us bring Disorient Express to life.

It helps us turn this from a shared dream into a shared experience. Something that will not belong only to us once it reaches the playa. It will become part of the city. A place to dance. A place to meet. A place to climb on with strangers. A place that might become someone’s first real Burning Man memory.

Every contribution helps us build it together.

Thank you for being part of the Disorient Express.
