Mollie's Disney Half for Sophie and Madigan

Hi everyone! I am excited to share that I will be running the 2025 Disney Half Marathon for charity, fundraising for an organization called Sophie and Madigan's Playground.

After the loss of two daughters in a tragic house fire in 2013, the Lillard family looked for a way to honor the memories of Sophie and Madigan. SAMP is an organization that created a memorial park to reflect the joy and spirit the girls brought to the world and create a community space where children and families could build long-lasting memories. They continue to honor Sophie and Madigan by providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and form lifelong memories together. A key source of donations comes from runners like myself who partner with SAMP, sharing their story and raising money towards programs for kids to play, learn, and create!

After hearing the story of the Lillard family's tragic loss and their mission to honor the memories of Sophie and Madigan, I knew that running the Disney Half with SAMP would be incredibly meaningful. Donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated to help reach my goal!
