Disaster Relief - Monceaux Family
We heard about this family through a friend of Britt Elliott's by the name of Tony Ugalde, Tony works with Lance at the Exxon refinery in Baytown. Tony said that when he was recently in need of assistance Lance and his family who they barely knew, stepped in and helped him and now it's time that we give back and help their family.
The Monceaux family lives in Baytown Texas, they have a two year old son and are also expecting a new born baby girl in about 5 weeks. This family has lost everything due to Hurricane Harvey including thier two vehicles and all baby items that they had received preparing for the arrival of their baby girl. There was nothing in their home that was salvageable due to the bacteria from the contaminated waters. Like most in this area their neighborhood is declared a no flood zone and like most they didn't have flood insurance. Their home insurance will most likely not cover ANY of the damages or loss.
We are putting together a volunteer group to leave from Fort Worth this Friday the 8th for Baytown. The money raised will be used to help this family with baby supplies, clean up efforts of their home and to house and feed the family in the immediate aftermath of hurricane harvey. In addition, we will use a small amount of the money to provide pulled pork BBQ sandwiches and bottled waters to their neighbors that are also working tirelessly to salvage anything they can within their homes.
At this time this family has no idea that we have started this campaign for them, we just felt a call to help out in a time of need and know that we have to start somewhere so lets start one family at a time.
Any help we can give to get this family back on their feet & their home livable again would be most appreciated.
The funds will be withdrawn by myself this Friday and delivered directly to the Monceaux family upon our arrival in Baytown Saturday.
Thanks for your support and God bless.
