We have set up this go fundme to help raise funds for disaster relief operations in Siargao specifically in Santa Monica after a supertyphoon Rai pummelled central/southern parts of the Philippines. Our father is the current mayor of this small town with over 9000 residents. However, I would like to highlight that this will be a personal donation initiative which will be contributed towards the recovery of this local government unit. With the pandemic still on the horizon and with Christmas around the corner, any in kind help will truly make a difference in this poor community.

We aim to use the funds to help rebuild homes of over 9000 residents which have been mostly, if not all, destroyed by the typhoon. The communication lines, roads, markets, evacuation centres sustained severe damages. There is very limited access to food and clean water.
