Disability & Poverty In Punjab

Hi, my name is Dr. Amo Singh Raju.

For many years I have successfully raised funds for disabled people in the UK. I now want to turn my attention to the villages of the Punjab in India where on my recent visit, I noted multiple disadvantage and a lack of opportunities through poverty wherever I saw disability as an affecting element. With your help and support from my team, we have already donated twelve hand-bikes and wheelchairs as well as having paid for medical bills for a number of families in poverty.

With your further help, I want to increase support to families who have disabled adults or children who may just need a little financial boost or kick-start to help them out of financial hardship. It could be the purchase of a computer, tablet or any other piece of equipment, or even perhaps assistance with fees for a particular course.

Help me help those in need who are often left in rural villages with limited to no access to external support.
