Disability Hub fund

Last year Disability Labour ran the Disability Hub at Labour Party Conference. We assisted the Conference & Events Teams and provided Mental Health and other support to Delegates. The Party paid the expenses of the main person running the Hub.
This year because Conference is in Brighton and access is more difficult, we know we will need even more people. We have asked the Party to fund 2 rooms for 4 people, so that we can have a larger team of people working on the Hub. Unfortunately, we have not had any response to our requests to date. If the Labour Party should decide to fund one or both the rooms please rest assured that the money raised will be put to good use by Disability Labour by printing more Activist Guides or assisting disabled members in getting full participation at branch, CLP and regional meetings.
We are therefore asking Labour Party members if they could contribute towards our hotel accommodation. We need 2 fully accessible rooms in a hotel near the Conference Center. We also need to print copies of our new Disabled Members Activist Guides.
The cost of our 2 rooms will be £3,600 and any money raised over that will be used to pay for printing the guides.
