Hi,my name is Richard. Me and my partner Karin are both support workers and have been for many years.

I'm opening a hangout centre in Hartlepool for people with extra needs. Hartlepool is an area that seriously lacks community activities for people with extra needs and mental health difficulties. We are needing community support to develop a safe, fun place to learn life skills, education classes, and to help with socialising and becoming one big family. It will also help with mental and physical health.

The hangout will have a sensory room, a movie and gaming room, also a lounge area. There will be rooms for reading and activities, also art and crafts. We will be doing activities like karaoke competitions, bingo and quiz nights and much more. Any funds we receive will be used to buy equipment and to build what is needed. We want to develop the hangout and keep the place financialy safe giving a better quality of life in Hartlepool. Thank you everyone for your support for making Hartlepool a better place.
