Hello.
So I'd like to introduce you (or re-aquaint you) with my mother, Dirka Collette.
Born in 1955, she is a veteran of an extraordinary walk with God over long decades. Baptised into the body of Christ at an early age, and part of the Worldwide Church of God, no doubt many of the older folks will remember her.
My mother has extraordinary depth of experience in her walk with God, and I know that in times to come, she will be a tower of strength and will be able to confer her resilience and wisdom upon many people. She has many stories to tell and a lot of love to give.
For too long, Dirka has suffered from Lymes disease - Borelliosis. She was first bitten by ticks in 1995, but was only diagnosed by a doctor in 2014, and has since had confirmed and repeated diagnoses by other practitioners, including visual identification in her blood.
Due to the backward nature of the Australian medical industry and its continuing refusal to acknowledge Lymes Disease as being relevant in Australia, my mother has been subject to the condescension and ridicule of allopathic medical practitioners and others who should know better.
Today she presents with limited mobility, neurological symptoms with her vision, balance, and confidence. Her quality of life and ability to participate socially has been negatively and severely affected for a decade now.
An opportunity has arisen from a suitably equipped naturopathic practitioner (Scott Hankinson, whose link can be seen here: https://naturalpainsolutions.com.au) for my mother to obtain the assistance and therapy required to rid her of this illness and restore her to health, which she is very much in need of. It has been a very long road.
She will be undergoing a regimen and protocol of lifestyle, dietary changes and hands-on physical therapies over the course of a few months, to rid her of the Borellia bacteria. It will not be an easy journey, but as others have experienced, i am confident that my mother can be restored to a life of blessing.
I cordially invite you to celebrate my mother's resilience and contribute to her efforts to get her back on her feet, so she can fulfill her potential in the church community, with the confidence of the warrior she is becoming.
My mother and I would like to share our humble and sincere gratitude for all contributions you can make to her efforts.
