Dear Community,
The historic fires of Los Angeles have been devastating to our community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of our neighbors who have been affected by this tragedy. Unfortunately, this has affected our medical physicians as well. As a medical staff we want to reach out to the community to help support those that have been affected as this is truly life changing. We are proud of our medical staff members who truly do care for our community and want to give them any support we can.
As you can imagine the disaster these folks and their families are dealing with, including finding temporary housing, transportation, schools for their kids, childcare, basics such as clothing, shoes, and living items as simple as items they use on a daily basis (toiletries, coffee machines, etc.) has been very difficult. They are basically having to rebuild their daily lives all over again.
We hope that you will join us and consider helping raise funds for these clinicians. These are the same doctors who tirelessly worked to support our community during the Covid pandemic. They as well responded in this time of need to continue to provide care to all who were in need even when they had just lost everything due to the Eaton Fires. We hope our community can now support them in their most dire time. The funds raised will go to their most immediate living needs.
The Medical Executive Committee of Huntington Health would like to thank you for your generous donation.
