My name is Katerina and I live in Switzerland. Here am creating this Gofundme for Dima, one intelligent and eager to learn young lady from Gaza. Bellow, in her own words, you can learn more about her:

"I am Dima from Gaza, a member of a family consisting of 10 members. I am 22 years old. I graduated with a communications diploma and was seeking to complete my studies abroad, but the war came that deprived us of all our dreams.

After completing my communications diploma, I trained for 6 months in graphic design, and I intended to obtain a bachelor’s degree in this field.

Since I was young, I had 5 operations at different ages on my feet, the first of which was a year and a half, a tendon operation in Egypt, but unfortunately I had to do the same operation at the age of 7 years in Egypt. At the age of 15, I did the third one here in Gaza, but I was not lucky, and the operation failed because of the skin opening, and it led to other problems in my feet, problems with the nerves of movement and sensation, so I had a nerve transplant in high school, and it led to major deformities, no less than 50 stitches, and this is my life between operations and wars.

However, I have not lost hope or the taste for life. I am a tennis player, I ride horses, and I am good at almost all sports and some drawing Handicrafts and a sense of architecture .

Therefore, I want your help to complete my dreams and studies and survive the war.

Right now, we are renting a house for an astronomical sum, a house without electricity, water, or the minimum needs of life, and we do not know how to pay, apart of the everyday struggle for water, food and medicines."

Dima and her family need our help in order to meet their basic needs and also to have the ability to fulfil their dreams and have dignified life.
