The Problems:
(1) Maps are mainly used for consumerism and surveillance.
(2) Maps are isolating one-size-fits-all platforms.
(3) People and spaces are unpredictable.
(4) Health data on maps are not responsive, relatable, or easily retrievable on a consumer-based scale.
No current product merges all of these factors.
My Reflective Questions:
Why are there only two main consumer map companies? (Google/Waze, Apple) How do they contribute to your daily life? What is the ratio of respect between maps and your personal lifestyle/goals?
The Solution:
Navigate life thoughtfully by using a map that crowdsources vibes, spaces, and public health in real-time!
Know what a place is like before you go there (within the last 30 minutes), beyond linear 5-star reviews.
Understand how spaces/ places affect your health and your community.
Travel internationally and view the vibes of places/spaces before you go there!
