Help Us Build Community and Combat Loneliness Through Fun!

Hi, we're Phire and Zoe, founders of Dice and Balls, a non-profit Community Interest Company based in Arnold, Nottingham. Our mission is to tackle social isolation and build confidence by bringing people together through board games and circus skills.

At Dice and Balls, we believe everyone deserves to feel included and have fun. We're dedicated to creating inclusive experiences for our local community through board games and circus skills workshops. Our company has two sides: Dice, which hosts board game and RPG events, and Balls, which runs circus skills workshops. We create welcoming environments for everyone, especially those who may feel socially isolated due to social anxiety, learning difficulties, neurodivergent conditions, or simply being new to the area. We aim to make spaces where everyone feels valued, empowered, and most importantly, has fun!

We had a dream: to open a hub in Arnold where people can discover what we offer, play games, and discuss how we can support their events. In September 2023, that dream became a reality when we opened our doors to the public!

In just a short time, we have built a thriving, growing community that spans all ages. We've seen friendships blossom and have become known as a "Safe Place" for both children and adults.

However, we still need your help. Both of us work other jobs and do not take anything from the company. Our expenses are high, with rent alone costing over £900 per month.
