Help Us Build a New Community Hub in Arnold!
It has become abundantly clear through the messages we’ve received and the conversations we’ve had that a community space is vital for Arnold. Many of you have shared your thoughts, and several people have even suggested that we take on one of the vacant properties in town to create a larger, more inclusive hub for everyone.
Initially, we were planning to take Dice and Balls on the road, but after hearing from our wonderful community, we are struggling with the idea of leaving. You’ve shown us how important it is to have a local, welcoming space—a place where everyone can come together, connect, and have fun.

That’s why we’re excited to share that one of the best suggestions we’ve received so far is to open a brand-new Community Hub in Arnold!
Why the New Hub Will Succeed
Our current hub, while cherished, is limited by its size. We’ve often found ourselves crammed with just a few families, which discourages others from joining and limits what we can offer. The bigger space in the new location will solve these problems and provide:
- More room for activities and events, so everyone can enjoy themselves without feeling squeezed.
- The ability to run multiple events simultaneously—whether it’s board games, workshops, knitting circles, or social groups, there will be room for everyone!
- A space that truly functions as a community center, offering more than just games. A hub where everyone is welcome to learn new skills, meet new people, and contribute to the community.
Additionally, with a dedicated, multi-functional space, we have better opportunities to secure ongoing funding. As a community hub, we will not only focus on games but also provide a diverse range of activities and resources that appeal to a broader audience, increasing our chances of receiving grants and long-term financial support.
However, the success of this plan depends on ongoing support from our community. While the new hub offers huge potential, we will need regular contributions to keep it running. Whether through donations, attending events, or signing up for our Monthly Games Pass, your consistent support will be vital to ensure the hub thrives and grows.

The pass allows you to come in and play without needing to make a donation, and you’ll also receive 10% off games while the pass is active. Regular support like this will not only help you enjoy the hub more frequently, but it will also provide us with the steady income needed to cover the ongoing costs of running the space.
