Family and friends!

I'm raising money for my mother who has been homeless for 8 months. Many of us who know Diane, know that she is one of the most generous people on the planet. As I look back and think about how many people my mom has fed and housed over the years- islanders and non-islanders alike, I'd like to think that we can come together in her greatest time of need. The money raised will pay the bills that my mom is adamant about paying to island utilities- and the other expenses that have accrued as the search for housing continues. I will not go into detail here about the series of events that have led to my mom's current situation, just know that she needs all of our help. She has been a part of the Block Island community her whole life- let's SHOW UP for her. If you can not give money; letters of encouragement and positive messages, links to other resources, or leads on housing can be DM'd to me on Facebook- With our help, she will get back to being the incredible, independent woman she has always been- who, when back on her feet, will turn right around and start giving back!
