When Diane was diagnosed with cancer in December, Scott had to take a leave from work to become a full time caregiver. He lovingly took care of her every need in ways few would be able to handle. Funds dissipated so quickly. When Diane was sleeping, and he could not, he could be found in his wood shop using his master craftsmanship skills to lovingly build her casket. There is no money left for a gravestone - which Scott wants to carve himself. This all has left Scott penniless. Medical insurance is refusing to pay - which he is fighting. He and Diane were never ones to ask for help - they were always the givers. Our family has been blessed by both of them and is helping all we can. Others have asked how they can help, this GoFundMe has been setup for that purpose. If you have been touched by Scott and Diane’s valiant examples, and would like to help Scott as he begins a difficult new chapter in his life, any help you feel inclined to give would be greatly appreciated.
