Caolan’s Fundraiser

Hi all, I am running my first half marathon in Melbourne on the 1st of December 2024. I am fundraising for two great causes, Diabetes and MS.

In 2022 my little sister Amelia was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, so I am raising money for “The type 1 club children diabetes group”. The T1 Club is Northern Ireland’s first independent diabetes group, my sister goes to this club for children and families with Type One Diabetes based in the north west of Ireland.

In 2023 my mum Gemma was diagnosed with MS. I thought it would be a good idea to raise some money for an organisation dedicated to research and help people affected by MS.

The money raised will be split evenly and donated to both groups. Any donation is much appreciated, I’m not much of a runner so this will be a very difficult challenge. A bit of motivation is knowing it’s for a good cause!
