Volunteering in Tanzania

Most of you will know I am volunteering in Africa to teach during the university break this summer as children mean the absolute world to me and hold a special place in my heart.

This trip is completely self-funded and not cheap, so I’ve been working and saving hard to meet my goal. Therefore, with my birthday coming up I thought to reach out and allow people to donate instead of purchasing gifts if they would like to do so.

I would instead be extremely grateful of any help towards funding the program as any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and used to fund the volunteering programme.

I have always wanted to partake in a volunteer program because I truly feel giving back is the most important thing a person can do, and hope my time with these children who have so little, leaves a lasting happy and positive impact.

This is a unique opportunity and one I have chosen to do solo. Not only do I hope to help others, but I also hope to learn, grow and develop a greater appreciation for the life I am lucky to have.
