Nearly a year ago, our dear friend Manny was in a tragic auto accident that left him paralyzed. Since that day, life has changed drastically for him and his family.

For the past year, Manny has relied on scheduled medical transport to get to appointments, church, and his children’s activities. Unfortunately, these rides are limited each month — making it difficult for the family to do the simple things most of us take for granted, like attending church together or cheering on their kids at events.

Recently, friends found a wheelchair-accessible van that would be perfect for Manny and his family. This van would restore a sense of freedom and independence, allowing him to go places on his own schedule — not just when transportation is available.
