EDITED Beirut and Lebanon have taken another hit today (5/8/2020) with an explosion at Beirut’s Port, which has seen nitric acid being blown up into the water and atmosphere, creating much devastation, as the casualties continue to rise.

Lebanon is facing it’s darkest days with many poverty stricken as a result of protests and a revolt by the people to overthrow the current government, which began in September 2019.

The recent Covid-19 pandemic has also left many unable to provide or even feed their families - due to lockdown restrictions from an already broken economy.

Currently people are unable to access their own money from the Central Bank and lockdowns mean people are not working.

Children having to go days without food because parents are unable to buy baby formula and food for them has become the norm.

Many unable to cope have resorted to self-inflicted harm and even suicide.

This fundraiser aims to provide necessary funds to help buy food and basic necessities for people as well as medicine for the sick.

We will be providing full transparency about who will receive the funds and how aid will be distributed.

We will be working with registered charities in Lebanon including:
Lebanese Food Bank
Bird Of Lyf
and other charities treating the injured from the recent blast.

Any donation will go a long way!
