Scott’s Cancer Battle

Hi, I’m Lindsay… Scott’s little sister. I started this fundraiser to help my brother because our family is making plans to get him the best possible treatment, and we know that will include travel expenses and lodging needs.

On April 15th, Scott was diagnosed with colon cancer that was discovered during a colonoscopy. Five days later, he underwent a successful surgery and the colon cancer was removed, however, his doctor found a cancerous mass and several small spots on his liver, as well as several spots on the outside of his stomach lining. Dr. Bergstrom and his team have begun the process of getting his records sent to Mayo and we’re hoping to get him an appointment very soon. But before he can begin any additional forms of treatment, his bowels must be completely healed from the removal of the colon cancer, which he estimated to be another 3 to 4 weeks. We’re hoping that he can be seen at Mayo during this healing period.
