80 years old. Author of 20 self-help books. I got sick (sepsis), went to the hospital for 2 weeks and was too weak to go home. I then spent 2 months in a California transitional care facility, where I was a victim of elder abuse. Bedsores, bruises, malnutrition, neglect. I am now handicapped.

Elder abuse is an epidemic. The World Health Organization estimates that 320 million people will suffer from elder abuse by 2050. We need to stop elder abuse. It can affect you, your family, and your friends.

Based on this I am undertaking a campaign to shine a light on, to raise awareness, of elder abuse. Let's stop elder abuse!
