Hi everyone

My name is Grace Murray, and I’m reaching out for a bit of support for my partner, Daniel, who plays college football at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California.

Recently, while Daniel was driving on the highway, a metal plate from another vehicle came loose and struck the bottom of his car. The impact caused serious damage — holes in the transmission and undercarriage — and unfortunately, the car was declared a total loss.

Thankfully, insurance and GAP coverage paid off what was owed, which was such a relief. However, it didn’t leave us with anything left for a down payment on a replacement car.

Daniel depends on having reliable transportation to get to football practices, games, and classes. Without it, he’s walking around everywhere, to keep up with everything he’s worked so hard for. I’m a full-time working solo parent in Arizona, doing my best to help him from afar, but we simply don’t have the extra savings right now to cover the upfront costs of another car.

We’re planning to finance another reliable vehicle, but we need help with the down payment, registration, and insurance to get him back on the road and back to school.
