Hello everyone,

My grandmother was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma three months ago. Due to this diagnosis, she is currently undergoing surgery to remove her right kidney. Sadly, we were given the news that the cancer had metastasized to part of her lung and liver as time went on. This was, of course, an extreme shock to us both.

My grandmother has been a nurse for over 40 years and has taken care of those around her for her entire life. Her work is truly her life, and she misses her patients dearly. She likes to call this her "retirement job" minus the retirement part. Since finding out this information, she has been out of work, and we are unsure when she will be healthy enough to return, which has made these times even more trying.

As many know, my grandmother has raised me since I was five years old and continues to be by my side and support me in all of my endeavors. She is genuinely the most selfless and hardworking woman I have ever met, and it would mean so much to me to help take some of the weight off of her. Any of the money being raised will be put toward our household bills. We appreciate anyone taking the time to read this and sending their thoughts and prayers.
