Help provide Shelter from the snow
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I am fundraising for a young family in desperate need of financial help/shelter as they prepare to welcome a new baby into the world. She is a loving mother of a wonderful 3rd grader, who is in school here in the Gallatin valley. The family is also expecting a new addition a baby as soon as January 20th. The mother is high risk pregnancy but continues to work tirelessly because she has no choice she is in this journey alone without family support. They have reached out to every homeless resource in the valley and have been denied for one reason or another. The shelters are full and there is a waiting list is usually the same answer. Wich has left the family with no other choice but to get motel rooms when they can or if they are lucky sleep on a friend's couch here and there, without risking the friends lease agreement. The family is between a rock and a hard place and just holding onto faith in the Lord for direction when the new baby arrives in a short couple weeks. The family goal is to get into a motel and pay weekly rates of 500$ which is the best stability they can hope for. Unfortunately that was all put on a hold because of the winter break and no child care for the young mother,no family or friends to babysit while she works to provide. I have seen her be turned down since this past summer from every organization around.I have personally driven her to these organizations and advocated for her,and it's heartbreaking for a mother to be told noone can help. It's heartbreaking for a mother to be told she has no choice but to be in the cold with her children and definitely scary for sure. We are calling on all God's Angels to lift this family up in prayer. I myself am not in any position to help the family financially I have been doing all I can as far as transportation to prenatal appointments, rides to work and food when I can. I am more then proud to say they have not given up! Everyday they do what they can to make it to the next. I admire her devotion to being a stable sober and most of all PRESENT mother. It's a simple prayer of just being a happy family together safe in doors that seems Soo far away for the family. Any help is greatly appreciated and could change this family's life. Motel vouchers, food. Baby items,
No donation is to small it could be the difference of a warm bed for the night.
God bless,
