Destination Imagination Global Comp
Donation protected
This May, the Natick High School Destination Imagination team will be competing in the Global Finals after winning their state and regional tournaments. Destination Imagination is a program that promotes creative thinking and teamwork to solve problems in real life. The 9th grade team this year participated in the Project Outreach challenge. To complete their challenge, the team collected donations of food, hygiene products, and cash for SOAR Natick, a locally based opioid recovery center. They then created a fable to describe the community need their project addressed. They presented their fable at the regional and state competitions.
After placing first at the regional tournament and second at the state level, they are now moving on to the Global Finals tournament in Knoxville, Tennessee.
This is a great honor for the team but requires a great deal of resources. The team is currently attempting to raise between 8,000 and 10,000 dollars to cover the expense of competing at this level. Please help us make this possible!
