We are a dual disabled Veteran family. We are currently facing eviction and are desperate to find a solution. Life some times throws things your way, but this has been compounded in a period of time. Because of this we have fallen so far behind we are at risk of homelessness.

Due to illness of a child we were unable to keep up and we fell for behind. There was a period of time when income was halted due to unforseen circumstances. Though gainful employment has been restored, the deficit has been impossible to catch up up. We have our 10th child due in 6 weeks. The pregnancy is unfortunately extremely high risk, already dealing with episodes of bleeding. She was diagnosed with complete placenta previa and a heavy risk for accreta. Because of this diagnosis she has not been able to work as what she does for income requires extreme physical exertion. There is a ton of guilt and shame surround this and we are trying our very hardest to make it through. To top it off the owners of the house are also disabled Veterans and we feel so burdened with the fact that we've also put them in a tough financial spot. Our kids mean the world to us and though we are trying our hardest to catch up, it just seems impossible. The baby has to be delivered early and we have only 5 weeks left until that happens. The eviction has been filed and though the owners have been patient they can no longer hold off. We are desperately begging for support from our fellow humans to get caught up so we can finally maintain and keep our children in their home.

We are both Iraqi war Veterans and have done countless work on healing our wounds regarding that. We know there are many people in this world in need and we are just a small portion of that harsh reality.

We will continue to press on and show up for our children. Its just been a really hard few years and even though there is a light at the end of this tunnel we are struggling to get there.

With past due bills and rent we are currently behind a lot higher than our set goal, but anything helps. The weight and shame of this made it hard to reach out before we were in such a dire situation. It's been hard to be vulnerable and open about what's been going on. But we've reached a point where we do not know what else to do.
