After 10 years of enduring emotional and physical abuse my daughter, Desiree, made the courageous decision to leave her husband and reclaim her life. Her strength and resilience pushed her to finally break free. She literally left with just her clothes. After being here in Lexington with me for a few months, Desiree left my home last weekend and is now living with my brother David Lacy, and his wife June, in North Carolina. This is the beginning of a new chapter filled with healing, hope, and opportunity. This season is all about rediscovering who she is - finding her inner peace, building confidence, and setting a new healthy course for her future.

Her major obstacle right now is TRANSPORTATION.

David & June live outside of city limits where public transportation simply isn't available, and relying on Uber or Lyft daily isn't financially feasible.

Her greatest immediate need is a safe, reliable used car. Something that would allow her to:

- Pursue steady employment

- Explore educational opportunities

- Rebuild her independence

- Handle daily necessities
