Desiree's Retirement
Donation protected
After over 20 years of devoted service to Berkshire Squash, Desiree has decided to retire and we hope the squash community will show their appreciation for all her help, support and commitment by making a small donation.
In 2003, Desiree joined our committee and soon got stuck in to organising the ladies teams and events - a role she maintained for many years.
However, from 2012, Desiree has been our Secretary and during this time she has helped ensure that everything runs smoothly within our organisation, often providing a level head and sound council. Desiree has also been a Trustee for the last 3 years, since our charitable status was established.
Desiree ran our Vets and Ladies tournaments for many years, but in 2021 she became our Tournament Programme Manager, taking control of all tournaments! This involved giving up countless hours at weekends, making sure that all the events ran smoothly and everyone had fun! During this time, Desiree has driven all around the county to collect and deliver prizes and attend our events - no task was too much.
As if that wasn't enough, Desiree has also been our Welfare Officer for the last 4 years too. Indeed, it’s impossible to calculate just how many hours Desiree has spent helping promote squash over the years and her contribution will be sorely missed.
Please show your appreciation for all of Desiree's efforts by making a small contribution to her retirement present.
Regards,
