As First Nations people in Canada, many of us know what it's like to lean on our communities and Nations in times of need — whether for family support, medical emergencies, or unexpected life transitions. In the U.S., however, being First Nations doesn’t always come with the same kind of community infrastructure or access to support. That’s why we’re stepping up as her extended community to walk alongside her and lift her up.
