The 100-Yard Food Drive Challenge
Hosted by Dermer Dreams
Sunday, October 26, 2025 – Rumson-Fair Haven High School
The challenge is simple but powerful:
On October 26th, students will fill every yard of the RFH football field – from end zone to end zone – with bags of donated food. Students will earn their community service hours and fill the shelves of the local food banks.

How You Can Help:
Donate $25 to Feed a Family.
Daniel & Alyse Dermer made a personal donation to launch this campaign. Now we’re asking you to join us and help fill the field.
Our students will lead the way by participating in the Neighborhood Captain program. The students will earn their community service hours while filling the field . We need your help to raise funds to put food on the field and help them achieve the goal of filling the field end zone to end zone.
Every dollar goes directly to food purchases that will end up on the field—no overhead, no salaries, no waste. We work with suppliers to stretch every donation as far as possible to feed families in need.
Why We’re Doing This:
Over 270,000 children in New Jersey are food insecure—1 in every 7 children doesn’t know where their next meal is coming from.
Since launching our Neighborhood Captain Program, students across New Jersey have already collected 873,019 pounds of food. With your support, we are determined to surpass our ultimate goal of
ONE MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD.
Be part of this historic day and join the Dermer Dreams team...Fighting Hunger… One Bag at a Time.
