On January 21, we lost a dear friend and colleague, Derek Burke. His wife and parents are devastated, and his one year old daughter lost her dad. The loss is sudden, and unexpected.

For those of us who knew Derek, his laugh was contagious. He held his friends near, but family was his treasure.

Derek touched many people with his kindness and friendship, and to honor his memory, let's come together to be a support system for his family. With all the responsibilities of a now single mom, we can bless Emilee and Natalie one step at a time. 

This fund is to ease the burden now on the shoulders of the love of his life, who loved Derek unconditionally. Derek will forever be missed, and while this does not lessen the hurt we all feel, it will provide for what mattered most to him. His treasure. His bride. His baby girl.
