DePaul Film Fatales Fundraiser

DePaul Film Fatales (DFF) is a club supporting femme, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC filmmakers at DePaul University. Having been President of the club over the last couple of years, I’d like to give back to DFF and give its new board and members the funds to build on the work we’ve been doing: creating workshops, networking events, bringing in guest speakers, and building a name for ourselves among the film community in Chicago. There needs to be spaces and communities like this at a university level because, even though it is not the professional world, the communities we nourish at school are a reflection of what the world can be. By supporting DFF, you would be supporting our members’ projects, creating more opportunities to gain knowledge about film, connections in the film industry, and a strong platform to share one’s story.
