Hi, my name is Jonny Sopotiuk, and I've launched this fundraiser to support my new friends Denys Polischuk and Oleksandr Rumynin (Sasha).

Denys and Sasha are Ukrainian refugees who have come to Canada with Denys' sister Lelya and mother, Toma. After 12 years together, Denys and Sasha were married today in a beautiful ceremony in their new home community of Nanaimo, BC.

We are fundraising to help Denys and Sasha purchase wedding rings, celebrate their wedding day, and create a new home together.
