We believe that #DenverisBetterTogether! We want to make a difference in our city to those serving on the front lines during the current COVID-19 pandemic, as well as those hurting the most during this time.

That's why on Thursday, April 30th we are partnering with a local Denver business—Anthony's Pizza & Pasta (1628 E. Evans Ave.)—to create a win-win-win situation. First, paying for a local business to employ its staff for a day will help it keep the doors open. Second, the employees of the business will be payed for the day, keeping their much-needed hours and helping them make ends meet during this time. Third, they will make 500 pizzas for us to distribute, with the help of our volunteers, to the heroes and to those in need throughout our city on that day.

With your help we will be honored to show our thanks to local first responders such as Denver Fire Stations 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9; Denver Police; the Stout Street Health Center; National Western Complex Homeless Shelter; Denver Coliseum Women's Shelter; UC Health ACE Unit; and Denver Health. We will also be distributing food to families in the Five Points, Globeville, Westridge, Quigg Newton, and Sun Valley neighborhoods, as well as to our homeless neighbors!

This effort is made possible by your generosity, as well as a joint effort between Urban Outreach Denver and the Denver Dream Center. We work together frequently because we believe that #DenverisBetterTogether!
