Our names are Edward and Lizbeth, we help and donate our dental services to children and adults who are living in Roatán, Honduras. These underserved individuals cannot even afford a taxi service to go to the local non-profit clinic where we have been providing dental care since 2021. For past 2 1/2 years, we've even traveled to the local community in order to educate and apply a much needed fluoride treatment to children between ages of 2-16 years of age. These kids have never visited a dentist or had cleanings, x-rays or fillings. We want to continue providing education and dental care to the kids and their parents whom otherwise are unable to ever get basic dental services. At the moment we are really hoping to raise funds to buy an x-ray machine which will help in the diagnosis of decay, so that we are able to restore teeth that would otherwise be infected, broken or lost. Attached are some of the pictures at clinic, Vessels of Mercy and at the local community. We educated and cared for 60-85 children, who all received basic bag with toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss and rinse. Each child also was given fluoride treatment in order to help prevent further teeth decay. Some of the kids, need urgent fillings and/or extractions. We appreciate all your help and support in this very dear and wonderful endeavor and hope everyone can be seen and helped in Roatán, Honduras.
