Dental Mission trip to Zambia, Africa

Did you brush your teeth today? Imagine your life without a toothbrush or access to dental care. In Zambia, this is very common. Unfortunately, the main staple of the rural Zambian diet is a sticky maize porridge that causes tooth decay. With little access to dental care, this can often turn into pain.
Dr Marissa Miller (Discovery Dental) along with Susan Leckowicz (Dental Coaches) and I (Carolyn Ganley) will be teaming up with Zambian dental students and a small team from the US to offer dental care and education to those in need in Zambia. We have a goal of helping 80-100 people a day. This is a free pop up dental clinic. We will bring as many toothbrushes as possible and cover all of the costs involved in setting up the clinic . For four days we will treat people with cavities, pain, and infections who have zero options for help.
